CAROLINA GARCIA

From South Miami

She takes inspiration from every day life experiences and the way they are processed by our mind in order to express - or suppress - our feelings, expectations and dreams. Her approach to abstract art is totally intuitive; she doesn’t have an idea of the final piece as she is creating it. Carolina believes in using her intuition as a catalyst to materialize visions from the unconscious mind.

PUCHI NORIEGA

From Cutler Bay

Clay has always been an extension of myself. Though most see it simply as a medium for expression, I feel it is a conduit to my subconscious, my hands moving to reveal the unknowable parts of my soul. This is why I often start a piece without understanding its full meaning, and through time I learn what my art is saying. My sculptures have a message for the world, but more importantly, they teach me about who I am. My connection with clay started at the age of three in my parents’ ceramic studio. While I have tried using other mediums, I always go back to ceramic sculpture, as though it is part of my DNA.

DIANA BENEDETTI

From South Miami

Diana's works are full of bright colors and textures that enrich the content and message of her style. She uses oils, because she is a very noble medium. “I love its brightness and smooth consistency, which lets me manipulate the paint in many ways. I also love the slow drying time and the durability of oils: With the appropriate technique, works in oil will last a lifetime.”

As a mature artist, Diana has become very well known for her realist paintings. She uses symbols, messages and objects which tell the story of our humanity, our perfections and imperfections. With her paintings of her, Diana hopes to spark emotions in the viewer and maybe change hearts to help improve the world in which we live in.

MARI VIZQUERRA

From Kendall

My art is born from a deep connection with nature and emotions lived in freedom. Through vibrant, life-filled colors, I seek to transmit positive energy, joy, and light. Each piece is a part of my soul transformed into color and emotion, creating a bond with those who contemplate it. My wish is to leave a little piece of myself in every home — bringing light, optimism, and beauty into the space it inhabits."

LORENA VELEZ

From Key Biscayne

I paint quiet moments and still places where time seems to stop for a while. Nature is always my source of inspiration. My artwork is the result of an intuitive process where shapes and colors are presented without a plan. I like to explore with freedom. Abstract images appear in the scene, so my mind silences and surrenders with surprise.

In this invented world without noise, my soul awakens as I listen to my inner voice; a voice that we all feel like a whisper; a voice that carries the truth about the greatness of our spirit and the beauty inside of us.

I paint to remember who I am and to share my silence with anyone else who wants to listen to their own voice.

SANDRA CLARK

From The Falls

Sandra is a Chilean-American artist who paints colorful and light-filled landscapes

and seascapes of South Florida.

Striving to portray the beautiful sunshine and variety of color in our surroundings, Sandra paints from life, also known as plein-air, as much as possible. Always learning, she views the Everglades, the beaches, the parks and the Florida keys as places that deeply inspire but also teach her to be a better painter.

She hopes that her paintings spark joy and a connection with nature that sometimes gets lost when we grow up and have a lot of stress in our lives. She believes that nature is healing and encourages others to spend time outside and to bring it indoors with art.
